This rustic besom is crafted onto a nice contorted western hazel branch with a playful character. The branch has a slightly contorted, yet will stand on a level floor.

This trimmed besom is approximately 58" in overall length, with a very full 6" diameter sweep. The broomstick diameter is approximately 1 1/8" on average. The sweep is stitched round with natural linen twine. The handle is sanded very smooth and treated with food grade beeswax wood sealer. The sweep is bound and woven tightly, never to loosen or unravel. Great for sweeping nooks and crannies in the kitchen, and will look at home in a cabin or rustic cottage.
