Charming Cooking Spoon - Hand Carved Birch - One Only - Free Shipping

This cute little spoon was hand carved in our shop using axe and knives.  It is made from local birch wood, sustainably harvested.  The spoon has been lightly baked and sealed with natural wood wax finish, which is food safe and vegan friendly.  The handle of the spoon is decorated with a zigzag chip carving pattern, and a small finial is carved into the top.  It will be a favorite kitchen companion.  There are whittle marks in the spoon, so you know it was carved by a living person.  I also don't use templates to shape the spoons.  Each one is designed as the carving progresses.  No two are the same.

This spoon is 8 1/2" long. The bowl is approximately 3" long and 1 7/8" wide. Carved without use of machinery or sandpaper, the spoon has a traditional whittled knife finish.

Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry with a cloth. Hand wash only for years of enjoyment.
