Rustic Branch Besom - "The Snag" - Knotty Pine Branch - One Only - Free Shipping

This besom is built on a little rustic pine snag, found dead standing in a wildfire area.  The bark was removed and the branches were trimmed and sanded smooth to retain its character.  The oversize sweep is very full and chunky looking to compliment the character of the branch.  Woven tightly, never to loosen or unravel.  This round besom is stitched with black linen twine, and left untrimmed.  The wood is treated with food grade oil and beeswax.

The overall length of the besom is 64".  Handle diameter averages 1 1/4".  Sweep is approximately 5" thick.

This would be a wedding broom with character, or used as decor in a rustic cabin.  One of a kind rustic broom.
