Whittled Bowl - Little Bird Bowl - One Only - Free Shipping

This little whittled bowl was hand carved in our shop using axe, adze, and knives.  The wood was collected by coppicing and thinning trees, and is now being used for some of our wood carving projects.  

Overall length is 8".  The hollow is 6" long x 3 1/2" wide.  It averages about 1 1/2" deep.  Hollowed using an adze, gouge, and various curved knives, by hand.  The handle is in the shape of a bird's tail, and there is a "bird's beak" prow.  The wood has been sealed with food safe tung oil and wood wax - vegan friendly.

Whittled bowls don't follow a pattern, and they are not perfect in form.  You know by looking, it is carved by a living person.  A great bowl for holding jewelry, nuts, or using as a snack bowl, watching your favorite movie!
